Is your website ready to sell ads?

While browsing through thousands of sites registered for Web Fest competition I couldn’t help noticing two things: phenomenal both qualitative and quantitative progress compared to previous year. Still some of basic web design rules were overlooked in some of the most prospective websites.

So, you have designed a portal, drove nice traffic to it and you think it’s time to spice up your revenue with adding ads to your site. But does your site have an appropriate space for it?

If you have hired an agency to design your portal make sure that they are familiar with Ad Units Guidelines by IAB. Otherwise you’ll be unnecessary spending money for redesign.

Promoting your video on YouTube

Do you know that YouTube is second biggest search engine in the world? First one is Google.

People do search on YouTube.  So, is your video among search results? Or you just upload videos in order to send them to your friends and business partners.

Well you better think twice, because YouTube can play an integral part in a company’s marketing campaign.

Take a look at this YouTube Help Center topic and make sure that your video title, tags and description is properly defined.  Make sure that you analyze traffic using YouTube Insight before tweaking your videos and after. You’ll be surprised with results.
